Το σχολείο μας συμμετέχει ενεργά σε προγράμματα E-Τwinning από το 2016.
Το eTwinning είναι η Κοινότητα για τα σχολεία στην Ευρώπη.
Σχολεία από διαφορετικές Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες, κάνοντας χρήση εργαλείων Τεχνολογιών Πληροφορίας και Επικοινωνιών (ΤΠΕ), συνεργάζονται ώστε να αποκομίσουν παιδαγωγικά, κοινωνικά και πολιτισμικά οφέλη.
Η δράση eTwinning δίνει στα σχολεία την ευκαιρία να μάθουν μαζί, να μοιραστούν τις απόψεις τους και να δημιουργήσουν καινούργιες φιλίες.
Φέτος δεχτήκαμε πρόσκληση να συμμετέχουμε στο έργο με τίτλο Let's Celebrate!

Ας γιορτάσουμε γιορτές… φεστιβάλ… παραδόσεις σε όλη την Ευρώπη!
Αυτό είναι ένα έργο Νηπιαγωγείου και Δημοτικού όπου τα μικρά μας δημιουργούν ένα συλλογικό ημερολόγιο εορτασμών σε κάθε χώρα, ενώ δείχνουν ο ένας στον άλλο μια ποικιλία από παραδόσεις όπως παιχνίδια, φαγητό, τραγούδια και φύση-περιβάλλον.
Τον Οκτώβριο έγινε η πρώτη διαδικτυακή συνάντηση γνωριμίας συνεργατών όπου η Ιδρύτρια του έργου Jeanette Cardona από την Μάλτα
μας παρουσίασε την δομή του έργου και τις μηνιαίες εργασίες.
Έγινε σχετική ενημέρωση των γονέων και κηδεμόνων και ζητήθηκε η συναίνεση τους.
Μιλήσαμε στα παιδιά για την κοινότητα του etwining, των
οποίων κάποια ήδη γνώριζαν από την προηγούμενη χρονιά .
Μιλήσαμε ζωγραφίσαμε και παίξαμε με τα γράμματα του etwinning και τα βάλαμε στη σειρά.
Κάναμε και μία ακροστιχίδα του ονόματος eTwinning με ονόματα ζώων
Και δημιουργήσαμε την γωνιά του έργου μας

15ο Νηπιαγωγείο Πάτρας - ΕΛΛΑΔΑ
Ημέρα Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου (SID) Η
Ημέρα Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου (SID) είναι μια ετήσια παγκόσμια εκδήλωση που στοχεύει στην ευαισθητοποίηση σχετικά με την ασφάλεια στο διαδίκτυο και στην αντιμετώπιση, μεταξύ άλλων, ζητημάτων όπως ο κυβερνοεκφοβισμός, η ψηφιακή ταυτότητα και η υπεύθυνη χρήση του διαδικτύου. Ξεκίνησε το 2004 στο πλαίσιο της πρωτοβουλίας SafeBorders της ΕΕ και το 2005 αναλήφθηκε από το δίκτυο Insafe.
Σήμερα, η SID γιορτάζεται σε περισσότερες από 180 χώρες παγκοσμίως. Η SID διοργανώνεται στο πλαίσιο της πρωτοβουλίας Better Internet for Kids (BIK) από το δίκτυο Insafe (συντονιζόμενο από το European Schoolnet) και την INHOPE (Διεθνής Ένωση Γραμμών Βοήθειας για το Διαδίκτυο), εκ μέρους της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής.
Στο Νηπιαγωγείο προσεγγίζουμε το θέμα της «Ασφάλειας στο Διαδίκτυο» μέσα από μια ποικιλία δραστηριοτήτων. Υποστηρικτικό εκπαιδευτικό υλικό είναι διαθέσιμο από το Ελληνικό Κέντρο Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου στην ιστοσελίδα:

Με την ευκαιρία του εορτασμού της Ημέρας Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου 2025, το Ελληνικό Κέντρο Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου του Ιδρύματος Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας προκηρύσσει πανελλαδικό μαθητικό διαγωνισμό με διαφορετικά θέματα για την Πρωτοβάθμια και Δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση.
Το θέμα του διαγωνισμού για μαθητές Δημοτικού είναι:
«Λέμε ΟΧΙ στον κυβερνοεκφοβισμό: Μαθαίνουμε, Προστατεύουμε, Υποστηρίζουμε!».
Στο Νηπιαγωγείο μας ενημερωθήκαμε για την ασφαλή περιήγηση, μιλήσαμε για τους κινδύνους, γνωρίσαμε τη μασκότ της φετινής καμπάνιας, παίξαμε, τραγουδήσαμε, μιλήσαμε για το πώς λειτουργούν τα κινητά τηλέφωνα... με τα ραδιοκύματα και τα ηλεκτρομαγνητικά κύματα, παρακολουθήσαμε ένα σχετικό βίντεο, κάναμε μια εισαγωγή για τους μαγνήτες και δημιουργήσαμε μια γιγαντιαία ομαδική αφίσα.

Μάλτα (3), Ρουμανία (2), Ισπανία (2), Ελλάδα (2), Βέλγιο (1)
Στόχοι του προγράμματος
Ο κύριος στόχος αυτού του έργου είναι να κατανοήσουν τα παιδιά ότι ο κόσμος γύρω μας είναι πολύ σημαντικός για εμάς και είναι πλούσιος σε γιορτές και παραδόσεις.
Από την άλλη πλευρά, θα συνειδητοποιήσουν επίσης ότι υπάρχουν άλλα παιδιά σε όλη την Ευρώπη των οποίων ο «κόσμος γύρω τους» μπορεί να είναι διαφορετικός αλλά εξακολουθεί να είναι ενδιαφέρον να μάθουν.
Θα γιορτάσουμε τις διαφορές μας και θα διασκεδάσουμε μαθαίνοντας.
Τα Αναμενόμενα Αποτελέσματα θα είναι
Ένα συλλογικό ημερολόγιο, συλλογικά βιβλία, padlets, βίντεο και βιντεοδιασκέψεων.
Όλα τα αποτελέσματα θα μεταμορφωθούν και στο TwinSpace.

Ξεκινήσαμε να αναζητάμε στο χάρτη τις χώρες που συμμετέχουν στο έργο και μαθαίναμε κάποια χαρακτηριστικά αυτών.
Όπως πρωτεύουσα,σημαία,εθνόσημο,αξιοθέατα.
Ξεκινήσαμε με την Μάλτα
Μας έκανε εντύπωση το κάστρο στη Βαλέτα και πρώτα το σχεδιάσαμε και στη συνέχεια το οικοδομήσαμε !!!
Περάσαμε στην Ρουμανία ...φτιάξαμε και παίξαμε με τα χρώματα της σημαίας τους
Μιλήσαμε για το κάστρο του κόμη Δράκουλα .
Το κάστρο Μπραν (ρουμανικά: Castelul Bran) είναι κάστρο το οποίο βρίσκεται κοντά στο χωριό Μπραν, Κομητεία Μπρασόβ, στην κεντρική Ρουμανία. Το κάστρο κατασκευάστηκε τον 13ο αιώνα από το Τευτονικό Τάγμα και σήμερα αποτελεί εθνικό μνημείο της Ρουμανίας. Βρίσκεται στα όρια Τρανσυλβανίας και Βλαχίας. Συχνά αναφέρεται ως το «κάστρο του Κόμη Δράκουλα».
Το κάστρο σήμερα λειτουργεί ως μουσείο.
Με την δική μας φαντασία ζωγραφίσαμε την συνέχεια αυτού του κάστρου.

Το εθνόσημο της μας έδωσε την αφορμή να μιλήσουμε για τις Ηράκλειες στήλες , και να ακούσουμε το Μύθο με τα Βόδια του Γυριόνη
Τέλος αναφερθήκαμε στο Βέλγιο
Μας έκανε εντύπωση το άγαλμα του Manneken Pis στις Βρυξέλλες
και του χαρίσαμε τις δικές μας ενδυμασίες.Αστυνόμο ,Αστεράκι,Spiderman και Ναυτάκι.
Αποτυπώσαμε όλες μας τις γνώσεις για τις συνεργαζόμενες χώρες πάνω στο χάρτη της Ευρώπης και κάναμε την ανάλογη αντιστοίχιση
Κάναμε αντιστοίχιση μνημείων με μινιατούρες από διάφορες χώρες της Ευρώπης και εμπλουτίσαμε την γωνιά του προγράμματος μας.
Στο τέλος αφιερώσαμε χρόνο στην χώρα μας
και αναφερθήκαμε στο σπουδαίο μνημείο της χώρας μας τον Παρθενώνα.
Ο Παρθενώνας είναι ένας αρχαίος ελληνικός ναός χτισμένος στην Ακρόπολη της Αθήνας.
Είναι κατασκευασμένος από λευκό πεντελικό μάρμαρο και ήταν αφιερωμένος στη θεά Αθηνά, την προστάτιδα της πόλης των Αθηνών.
Η κατασκευή του ξεκίνησε το 447 π.Χ. με απόφαση του Αθηναίου πολιτικού Περικλή.
Οι αρχιτέκτονες ήταν ο Ικτίνος και ο Καλλικράτης, ενώ υπεύθυνος για τα γλυπτά ήταν ο Φειδίας.
Η κατασκευή ολοκληρώθηκε το 438 π.Χ. και τα τελευταία αγάλματα τοποθετήθηκαν το 432 π.Χ.
Είναι ένα κτήριο δωρικού αρχιτεκτονικού ρυθμού, που όμως συνδυάζει στοιχεία και του Ιωνικού.
Τα γλυπτά μπορούν να χωριστούν σε τρεις κατηγορίες: τις μετόπες, τα αετώματα και τη ζωφόρο.
Η είσοδος στον κυρίως ναό γινόταν από την ανατολική κεντρική θύρα του ναού.
Μέσα έστεκε το γιγάντιο άγαλμα της Αθηνάς Παρθένου.
Το άγαλμα ήταν κατασκευασμένο από τον Φειδία από χρυσό και ελεφαντόδοντο και είχε ύψος περίπου 12 μέτρα.
Ο Παρθενώνας θεωρείται σύμβολο της αρχαίας Ελλάδας, της δημοκρατίας και του δυτικού πολιτισμού.

Στη συνέχεια κατασκευάσαμε τον Παρθενώνα με ανακυκλώσιμα υλικά και φτιάξαμε το χρυσελεφάντινο άγαλμα της θεάς Αθηνάς με πλαστελίνη.
Εμπνευστήκαμε από την αφίσα του έργου μας και την Ζωγραφίσαμε με τον δικό μας τρόπο.
Δημιουργήσαμε ψηφιακό χάρτη και βάλαμε το στίγμα των σχολείων μας
Είδαμε και συγκρίναμε τα σχολεία των άλλων χωρών.

Our school is located in the south-east of Malta, in the sea-side village called Marsaskala. The population of the school is almost 600 pupils. We are a multi-cultural school as 47% are foreigners coming from 43 different countries. We are bilingual too as both Maltese and English are taught in our school.

The number of students in the elementary school is about 250 students and in the Kindergarten 40 children between 4 and 6 years old.

Libraries Day in Granada
Κατά τη διάρκεια της τρέχουσας σχολικής χρονιάς όλα τα Φεστιβάλ και οι Γιορτές περιστρέφονται γύρω από το θέμα του Πήτερ Παν.
Έτσι, φτιάξαμε ένα Πειρατικό πλοίο που σας καλωσορίζει με την είσοδό σας στο σχολείο μας.
Για τον εορτασμό της Ημέρας των Βιβλιοθηκών, κάθε τάξη έχει έναν Χάρτη Θησαυρού όπου πρέπει να σχεδιάσει τη διαδρομή για να βρει τον καλύτερο θησαυρό: το αγαπημένο τους βιβλίο.
Ο θρύλος είπε: «Καταραμένος Θησαυρός Όταν ξεκίνησε πριν από πολύ καιρό, στη Χώρα του Ποτέ, ο Captain Hook και τα τσιράκια του βρήκαν μερικούς χάρτες θησαυρών που τους οδήγησαν στους πιο πολύτιμους θησαυρούς στον κόσμο:
Τα βιβλία.
Ακολουθήστε αυτούς τους χάρτες και ανακαλύψτε για ποιον θησαυρό μας λένε τα αγόρια και τα κορίτσια στο σχολείο».
Autumn in Brussels
Το σχολείο μας επιλέγει να μελετήσει το μήλο για το φθινόπωρο.
Φέτος τον Οκτώβριο όλες οι τάξεις του σχολείου μας πήγαν στις αγορές της γειτονιάς για να αγοράσουν μήλα.
Και φυσικά τα μαγειρέψαμε. Χυμός και κομπόστα για την τάξη μας.
Και κάναμε μερικές δημιουργίες (ζωγραφική, σχέδιο, μοντελοποίηση, χρωματισμός ...)

Η δική μας συμμετοχή για να γιορτάσουμε Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Υπαίθριας Εκπαίδευσης ξεκίνησε με μια ομάδα κτίριο στην αυλή του σχολείου μας με φύλλα που μάζευαν τα παιδιά. Μελετήσαμε τα διάφορα είδη φύλλων και μετά χωριστήκαμε σε ομάδες και... Φτιάξαμε το Autumn BOY και Φθινοπωρινό κορίτσι και διασκέδασε τόσο πολύ.
Μετά φύγαμε από το σχολείο και πήγαμε στην πλατεία της γειτονιάς μας, Πλατεία Όλγας.
Είδαμε τα αξιοθέατα, αγάλματα της δόξας και το σιντριβάνι και έπαιξε στην παιδική χαρά.
Περάσαμε αξέχαστα και υποσχέθηκε να κάνει το μάθημα έξω από την τάξη πιο συχνά. ΛΑΤΡΕΥΟΥΜΕ ΤΗΝ ΕΞΩΤΕΡΙΚΗ ΗΜΕΡΑ ΤΑΞΗΣ!!!!!! Σχεδιάσαμε το σλόγκαν με ελιές σαν ομάδα!!!
Autumn in Romania
Για να γιορτάσουμε το φθινόπωρο, φτιάξαμε μερικά φθινοπωρινά στέφανα και χορέψαμε έξω στην αυλή του νηπιαγωγείου μας, γεμάτη φθινοπωρινά φύλλα. Τα φθινοπωρινά κοράκια φτιάχτηκαν από χάρτινα φύλλα βελανιδιάς που ζωγραφίσαμε με τα δάχτυλά μας χρησιμοποιώντας φθινοπωρινά χρώματα. Η βελανιδιά θεωρείται το εθνικό μας δέντρο. Είχαμε τόσο μεγάλη διασκέδαση!!

Όταν λέμε 28 Οκτωβρίου σίγουρα θυμόμαστε το μεγάλο «ΟΧΙ»!
Τι σημαίνει όμως αυτή η ημερομηνία για την Ελλάδα;
Ας μάθουμε μαζί! Κάθε χρόνο στις 28 Οκτωβρίου γιορτάζει όλη η Ελλάδα.
Αυτή η μέρα είναι ξεχωριστή γιατί το 1940 η Ελλάδα είπε «ΟΧΙ» στους Ιταλούς.
Οι Ιταλοί ήθελαν να περάσουν τα σύνορά μας χωρίς να μας ρωτήσουν.
Ο τότε πρωθυπουργός ήταν δικτάτορας, ο Μεταξάς, είπε αυτό το μεγάλο «ΟΧΙ» για λογαριασμό όλου του λαού.
Στις 28 Οκτωβρίου 1940 όλοι στην Ελλάδα ξύπνησαν από τον ήχο των σειρήνων.
Ήταν το σήμα ότι ο πόλεμος είχε αρχίσει.
Λίγο μετά τις 3 τα ξημερώματα της 28ης Οκτωβρίου 1940, η τότε ιταλική κυβέρνηση έστειλε τελεσίγραφο στην Ελλάδα, μέσω του Ιταλού Πρέσβη στην Αθήνα, ο οποίος το παρέδωσε στον δικτάτορα Ιωάννη Μεταξά, που κυβερνούσε τη χώρα.
Η παράσταση έγινε στο σπίτι που έμενε ο δικτάτορας, στην Κηφισιά-Αθήνα-Ελλάδα. Η φασιστική Ιταλία ζήτησε την ελεύθερη διέλευση του ιταλικού στρατού από τα ελληνοαλβανικά σύνορα για να καταλάβει στη συνέχεια κάποια στρατηγικά σημεία του Βασιλείου της Ελλάδας (λιμάνια, αεροδρόμια κ.λπ.), για τις ανάγκες ανεφοδιασμού του και άλλες εγκαταστάσεις, στη μετέπειτα προώθηση του στην Αφρική.
Αφού διάβασε το κείμενο, ο δικτάτορας Μεταξάς έστρεψε το βλέμμα του στον Ιταλό Πρέσβη και του απάντησε στα γαλλικά (την επίσημη διπλωματική γλώσσα) την ιστορική φράση: «Alors, c'est la guerre» (Λοιπόν, αυτό σημαίνει πόλεμος), εκδηλώνοντας έτσι την απάντηση όλων των Ελλήνων.
Την επόμενη μέρα οι εφημερίδες έγραψαν για το «ΟΧΙ» του Μεταξά. Το «ΟΧΙ» της Ελλάδας στους Ιταλούς ήταν δείγμα θάρρους.
Είχαμε το θάρρος να προστατεύσουμε τη χώρα μας. Την ημέρα εκείνη η Ελλάδα μπήκε στον Β’ Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο. Κάθε χρόνο τιμάμε αυτή τη μέρα γιατί θυμόμαστε το μεγάλο «ΟΧΙ» και την αγάπη μας για την Ελλάδα.
Είναι ημέρα γιορτής και αργίας σε Ελλάδα και Κύπρο.
Τα παιδιά του νηπιαγωγείου και του δημοτικού μαθαίνουν για την ιστορία της 28ης Οκτωβρίου και τι σημαίνει για τη χώρα μας.
Είναι ένας τρόπος να γνωρίσουμε το παρελθόν μας και να εκτιμήσουμε την ελευθερία μας.
Φέτος στο Νηπιαγωγείο μας για τον Εορτασμό της 28ης Οκτωβρίου 1940 κάναμε τις εξής δράσεις:
1. Την Πέμπτη 24-10-2024 οι μαθητές του ενός τμήματος παρουσίασαν στο άλλο τη γιορτή που ετοίμασαν με τις νηπιαγωγούς για την επέτειο της 28ης Οκτωβρίου. 15ο Νηπιαγωγείο Πάτρας Ελλάδα.

Ζωγραφίσαμε, ντυθήκαμε, παίξαμε και φτιάξαμε αντίστοιχες κατασκευές. Το αποκριάτικο πάρτι μας φέτος είχε κέφι, χορό, πολλά παιχνίδια και κεράσματα!!!
Φτιάξαμε φαντάσματα από ρολά και γάζες, στολίσαμε την τάξη μας με κολοκύθες και ζωγραφίσαμε αράχνες, νυχτερίδες και καπέλα μαγισσών.
Τα παιδιά το χάρηκαν πολύ και διασκέδασαν με την καρδιά τους!!!

Today is a big celebration!!! Our archangels are celebrating and with them our Air Force!!!
We learned about Archangel Michael who is the patron of our air force.
Visit to Araxos Air Base-2024.
We visited the air base of the 116th Fighter Wing in view of the celebration of the Patron Saint of the Air Force Archangel Michael.
The students were given a tour of the exhibition by the father of our students, they saw aircraft, a pilot's uniform and equipment, bombs, radar, an aircraft engine, etc.
They then boarded a fighter jet, saw the cockpit and spoke with a pilot.

St Martin's Day in Malta
Η Ημέρα του Αγίου Μαρτίνου γιορτάζεται στις 11 Νοεμβρίου.
Λέγεται ότι ο Άγιος Μάρτιν ήταν ένας στρατιώτης που πάντα του άρεσε να βοηθάει τους φτωχούς στο δρόμο δίνοντάς τους το φαγητό του.
Μια μέρα είδε έναν άντρα χωρίς ρούχα στο κρύο και πήρε τον μανδύα του, τον έκοψε στα δύο και έδωσε το μισό στον άντρα.
Αργότερα ονειρεύτηκε τον Ιησού που ήταν εκείνος ο φτωχός χωρίς ρούχα. Στη Μάλτα είναι παράδοση να δίνουν στα παιδιά μια τσάντα γεμάτη ξηρούς καρπούς και φρούτα σε ανάμνηση αυτού του αγίου. Αυτή η παράδοση πηγαίνει πολλά χρόνια πίσω, όταν οι άνθρωποι στη Μάλτα είχαν λίγο φαγητό, έτσι αυτή η τσάντα θα ήταν πολυτέλεια και τα παιδιά την περίμεναν.
Περνούσαν ώρες παίζοντας με τους ξηρούς καρπούς πριν τους φάνε και άντεχαν πολύ.
Η κα Bryndis και η κα Romina έδειξαν την ιστορία στα μαλτέζικα στα παιδιά.
Η κα Bryndis έφτιαξε επίσης μαριονέτες με εικόνες για να αφηγηθούν ξανά την ιστορία στα παιδιά και να τους επιτρέψουν να παίξουν ρόλους χρησιμοποιώντας τις.
Στη συνέχεια έδωσε στους μαθητές ένα «ħubbejża» (κυριολεκτική μετάφραση - «λίγο ψωμί») που είναι το παραδοσιακό γλυκό της Μάλτας για την ημέρα του Αγίου Μαρτίνου.
Είναι ένα γλυκό κουλούρι με ζαχαρωμένη φλούδα και μια καραμέλα λικέρ στη μέση.
Η κυρία Romina έκανε κομμάτια από τα πράγματα που βρίσκουμε συνήθως στην παραδοσιακή τσάντα του Αγίου Μαρτίνου - φρούτα, όπως πορτοκάλι, μανταρίνι, ξερά σύκα, μήλα και διαφορετικούς ξηρούς καρπούς, όπως καρύδια, αμύγδαλα, φουντούκια...
Και οι δύο δάσκαλοι απόλαυσαν επίσης να τραγουδούν ένα παραδοσιακό άσμα στα μαλτέζικα λέγοντας:
Ġewż, lewż, qastan, tin - Kemm inħobbu lil San Martin!
translated as:
Walnuts, almonds, chestnuts, dried figs - How I love St. Martin!
μεταφράστηκε ως: Καρύδια, αμύγδαλα, κάστανα, ξερά σύκα - Πόσο αγαπώ τον Άγιο Μαρτίνο!

Η προετοιμασία για αυτή τη γιορτή στην ομάδα των Μέλισσων ξεκίνησε μια εβδομάδα πριν τις 11 Νοεμβρίου.
Αυτές τις μέρες που προηγούνται του μεγάλου γεγονότος, τα παιδιά άκουσαν τον θρύλο του Αγίου Μαρτίνου και έμαθαν για τις καλές πράξεις που έκανε ο Άγιος Μαρτίνος.
Ο θρύλος τους παρουσιάστηκε με τη βοήθεια εικόνων από το θέατρο σκιών.
Κατά τη διάρκεια της εβδομάδας τα παιδιά προσχολικής ηλικίας είχαν την ευκαιρία να μάθουν τραγούδια και απαγγελίες για τις χήνες. Ας τους ακούσουμε:

With great emotions they prepared the lanterns with which on November 11 they participated in the traditional lantern walk organized in the largest park in the center of Cluj-Napoca.

We celebrate Flamenco ´s Day in Andalucia the 16th November because it considered Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity since 2010.

November - Riot of Polytechnic-University

Primary School of Pedino
In 15th of November we celebrated the Riot of Polytechnic University. In 17th of November 1973 the students of Polytechnic University conquested the building not allowing to the police to enter. In Greece there was dictatorship and the this conquest was a result of the people's dissapointment for the government and its laws. People outside the building helped and supported the students. Their slogan was BREAD, EDUCATION, FREEDOM. The dictator George Papadopoulos order the army to stop the conquest by any means. A tank stood outside the door of the Polytechneio. Around 3 o clock and after several warnings, the tank entered the university killing everyone who was on the door. Among the dead were boys and girls under 18. This was the most tragic day of Greece in the modern times and we continue to celebrate this day as a memorial for those who fought for freedom.
In our school we watched a puppet show called Tenekedoupoli, from a famous Greek author in childrens literature. We made our puppets from the show that we watched and in the end we made bullhorns with the slogans from the Riot of the Polytechneio.
15th KINDERGARTEN PATRAS GREECE
November 17 has become a symbol of resistance and freedom in Greece, and events are held every year.
In kindergartens, the Polytechnic Day is taught in a careful way, taking into account the age of the children and the sensitivity of the topic.
In this context, teachers adapt activities and games to explain the symbolism of this anniversary to young children.
The activities are adapted to the educational program of the kindergarten, with an emphasis on promoting themes such as peace, understanding, solidarity and the importance of respecting rights and freedom.
The tribute to the Polytechnic University celebration began with a fairy tale by Konstantina Armeniakou to explain to the children the value of Democracy and to remember that: ALL TOGETHER, ALL TOGETHER WE ARE ALWAYS STRONGER! Everyone loves Mrs. Democracy in the small village, which is why they chose her as their leader. But what will happen when Mrs. Ria the Dictatorship takes all the power by force? Can people live happily without Democracy?
We continued with the fairy tale of Eugenia Fakinou, where the huge oil can, Ladenios, oppresses the small cans and imposes his presence and his regime, this is exactly what happens in reality, from antiquity to the present day the oppression of the big by the small has been the social reality of the relationship between citizens and social power throughout time.

We worked as a team on the celebration poster showing the door of the Polytechnic, with the slogan :The Technical University Lives-the doves of peace, and the flowers for the students who were killed that day.
We also attended the Primary School celebration in our school's event hall, which was dedicated to Miky Theodorakis.
Our Primary School students were very moved by their poems, their performances and their songs!!!!

Although November 20th has been established as Universal Children's Day,
December 11th is also celebrated in the same context, since on this date, December 11, 1946, UNICEF, the United Nations Children's Fund, was founded, aiming to support mothers and children around the world who had immediate needs and were at risk of hunger, disease and other suffering after the end of the war.
We referred to the Decalogue of the Rights of the Child:

Romania - National Day
In Romanian historiography, the Great Union (Romanian: Marea Unire) or Great Union of 1918 (Marea Unire din 1918) was the series of political unifications the Kingdom of Romania had with several of the Romanian historical regions, starting with Bessarabia on 27 March 1918, continuing with Bukovina on 28 November 1918 and finalizing with Transylvania (on its broad meaning) on 1 December 1918 with the declaration of the union of this region with Romania during an assembly at the city of Alba Iulia.

Αυτή τη σχολική χρονιά όλα τα Φεστιβάλ και το Φεστιβάλ μας περιστρέφονται γύρω από το θέμα του Πήτερ Παν. Έτσι, φτιάξαμε ένα πειρατικό καράβι που σας υποδέχεται κατά την είσοδό σας στο σχολείο μας.
Για αυτό το Φεστιβάλ, κάθε τάξη έχει έναν Χάρτη Θησαυρού όπου πρέπει να σχεδιάσει τη διαδρομή για να βρει τον καλύτερο θησαυρό: το αγαπημένο τους βιβλίο.

St. Nicholas is celebrated by Romania

We celebrate Saint Nicholas on December 6. This is a nice, family holiday when children can find gifts in their shoes or boots in the morning. But of course we also celebrate it in the kindergarten. Before his arrival, we got to know his favorite reindeer, played various St. Nicholas -themed games, and painted St. Nicholas.
Saint Nicholas, who is a symbol of goodness and helpfulness, is traditionally a red-robed, white-bearded figure, and in many places children recite poems or sing to him to deserve the gifts, as we did. His arrival at the kindergarten caused great joy, everyone was very curious to see what he would get from Saint Nicholas's big sack.

December - Christmas celebrations
Malta
In our school we start organizing Christmas celebration activities from the beginning of December.
On the 3rd of December we had Breakfast with Santa. We held this activity in the school hall and we all ate cereal with milk and took photos with Santa.
In Malta it is a tradition of growing vetch, a little plant which when grown in the dark grows long and white and looks like angel's hair. We put this next to baby Jesus in our homes and churches.
Here is how Ms Romina's children did it. They put cotton wool at the bottom of the plastic cups and put some seeds called ġulbiena in Maltese, then watered it and put it in a dark place to grow.
It is also tradition to make cribs in our homes. In class we do a simple crib too. Here is how Ms Romina's children did their crib.
Ms Romina's class also did a christmas tree craft where they practiced scissoring and sticking papers.
Free art expression in drawing or painting christmas trees:
Ms Romina's students also decorated their own baubles and then put them up on their class Christmas Tree.
Ms Bryndis' class also did nativity cribs with shoe boxes and paper rolls.
15th KINDERGARTEN OF PATRAS- GREECE
December, the happiest and most festive month for children, had the smell of Christmas.
We decorated our classrooms.
We made our invitations for the celebration.
We read books.
And of course we made many, many Christmas crafts.
We wrote a letter to Santa Claus.
We painted with a Christmas theme.
On Monday, December 16, 2024, our Christmas Party was held.
The children of the kindergarten with the teachers in collaboration with the Trambala theater group presented the theatrical performance “The Wishing Tree”.
The Christmas tree took action and together with its assistants, the children of our school, warmed the hearts of young and old and reminded us of what Christmas really means.
Parents, grandparents, siblings and others enjoyed the little protagonists in a tender Christmas story and passed on such a sensitive message to our modern era.
We were also visited by Santa Claus who gave the children an inflatable cookie man and many, many wishes!
At the end, there was a buffet with savory and sweet dishes, juices and soft drinks offered by the parents of our students…

PRIMARY SCHOOL OF PEDINO
Last month we celebrated Christmas with many activities inside and outside school. We exchanged cards with our partners from e twinning, we made some artcrafts and we wrote our own christmas story. We made a feast the last day of school before Christmas break and we sang songs in the sign language, we ate all together and the played christmas games. We have made several things so we can sell them in a christmas bazaar in order to raise money for our school. In the end we sang the carols around the village and we ate cookies and drank chocolate in school wearing pyjamas. We really enjoyed ourselves!!
January
- International Day of the word "Thank you"
is celebrated on 11 January each year, encouraging people to show appreciation and gratitude to those around them.
A huge word that shows gratitude, humility, kindness and love.
As part of our project we dedicated a teaching session to Thanks giving.
We drew the people we owe a thank you to.
And we learned thank you in Italian, English,French, Spanish and Romanian.
And then we made the sign leading to the land of KINDNESS with words like thank you, sorry, please.
January - The Day of Romanian Culture
On 15 of January, in Romania we have the Day of the National Culture. This day of 15 of January was choosen to comemorate one of the greatest writers from Romania, Mihai Eminescu.
Mihai Eminescu was a RomanianRomanticpoet, novelist, and journalist from Moldavia, generally regarded as the most famous and influential Romanian poet.
Even if in kidergarten we learn poems, sing song, make drawings with our National Treasures.
This year I choosed to learn my group a part of the poem: Drowsy birds by Mihai Eminescu. I learn the poem in Romania but for you I put a link with subtitles to understand the poem.

Cutting of Vasilopita (Santa Claus Pie)of the 15th Kindergarten and the 2nd Primary School On Friday.
January 31, the cutting of Vasilopita was held by the Parents & Guardians Association of the 15th Primary School and the co-located 2nd Primary School.
All the students, along with the teachers and members of the Parents & Guardians Association, gathered in the event hall.
The students of the Kindergarten sang the carols of Peace and after the pies were blessed, they were distributed to the classes.
The coin went to Niki from A1 and to Ilias from A2!!!

Rules of the game:
The children stand behind a line drawn on the floor. One child plays the goldfish.
The children say the litany:
"Little goldfish, can we cross the sea? As long as we wear ...?"
The goldfish responds with a colour.
Those who wear this colour can cross the sea.
Those not wearing this colour must run to avoid being caught by the fish.
If a player is caught, he too becomes a goldfish.
The players ask again to cross the sea, the fish responds with a color.
If a player is caught, he too becomes a goldfish.
The game ends when only one player has crossed the sea or when all the players have become fish.

An odd number of players is chosen. Players form two columns, each player holding hands with their partner. One player, who has no partner, stands with his back to the others and shouts:
"Pair behind, run forward!"
At this signal, the last two players at the end of each column release their grip and each begins to run forward on his side. They often make a wider arc to avoid the player with their back turned trying to catch them. Runners aim to reconnect by holding hands again. If they succeed, they can line up in front of the columns. However, if the chaser catches one of them before holding hands, both the chasing and the caught player move to the front of the line, and the unpartnered player becomes the new next.

Το πρώτο ήταν οι μουσικές καράκλες που μας οδηγούσαν στα ουράνια τόξα το οποίο μας πρότεινε το Βέλγιο.

Ημέρα Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου (SID)
Η Ημέρα Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου (SID) είναι μια ετήσια παγκόσμια εκδήλωση που στοχεύει στην ευαισθητοποίηση σχετικά με την ασφάλεια στο διαδίκτυο και στην αντιμετώπιση, μεταξύ άλλων, ζητημάτων όπως ο κυβερνοεκφοβισμός, η ψηφιακή ταυτότητα και η υπεύθυνη χρήση του διαδικτύου. Ξεκίνησε το 2004 στο πλαίσιο της πρωτοβουλίας SafeBorders της ΕΕ και το 2005 αναλήφθηκε από το δίκτυο Insafe.
Σήμερα, η SID γιορτάζεται σε περισσότερες από 180 χώρες παγκοσμίως. Η SID διοργανώνεται στο πλαίσιο της πρωτοβουλίας Better Internet for Kids (BIK) από το δίκτυο Insafe (συντονιζόμενο από το European Schoolnet) και την INHOPE (Διεθνής Ένωση Γραμμών Βοήθειας για το Διαδίκτυο), εκ μέρους της Ευρωπαϊκής Επιτροπής.

Με την ευκαιρία του εορτασμού της Ημέρας Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου 2025, το Ελληνικό Κέντρο Ασφαλούς Διαδικτύου του Ιδρύματος Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας προκηρύσσει πανελλαδικό μαθητικό διαγωνισμό με διαφορετικά θέματα για την Πρωτοβάθμια και Δευτεροβάθμια εκπαίδευση.
Το θέμα του διαγωνισμού για μαθητές Δημοτικού είναι:
«Λέμε ΟΧΙ στον κυβερνοεκφοβισμό: Μαθαίνουμε, Προστατεύουμε, Υποστηρίζουμε!».
Στο Νηπιαγωγείο μας ενημερωθήκαμε για την ασφαλή περιήγηση, μιλήσαμε για τους κινδύνους, γνωρίσαμε τη μασκότ της φετινής καμπάνιας, παίξαμε, τραγουδήσαμε, μιλήσαμε για το πώς λειτουργούν τα κινητά τηλέφωνα... με τα ραδιοκύματα και τα ηλεκτρομαγνητικά κύματα, παρακολουθήσαμε ένα σχετικό βίντεο, κάναμε μια εισαγωγή για τους μαγνήτες και δημιουργήσαμε μια γιγαντιαία ομαδική αφίσα.

On the occasion of Valentine's Day on February 14th, we talked about love, and completed a weekly diary of the acts of love we do.
PRIMARY SCHOOL OF PEDINO
We celebrated also the Valentine's Day by making flower cards and the jar of love which was filled with nice words from our friends. Each student wrote to one another something good for the day.
February - Carnival
15th KINDERGARTEN OF PATRAS GREECE
The crazy Carnival started with a party.
We made and ate shrimp and fondant skewers and for dessert bananas with chocolate.
The band of the Municipality of Patras visited us, we ate, drank, played and danced to carnival rhythms.
We went out to the parade at the Carnival of the little children
and we did carnival constructions and projects at our school.
We drink to the health of all of us.And next year.
PRIMARY SCHOOL OF PEDINO
We celebrated Carnival with crafts, an excursion to a local horse park and with lots of dancing and signing. We made masks out of cupboard boxes and we painted them and we made also clowns using paper for hair.
We visited a local horse park for the Carnival day where we took part in face painting, horse riding and playing. The students were dressed in carnival costumes and they ate souvlaki. We had a great time!
Carnival at the Grădinița cu Program Prelungit Mămăruță was one of the long-awaited events for both children and parents.
In the week preceding the event, children participated in many artistic and practical activities.
On the day of the carnival, they dressed up as their favorite heroes costumes. There was a lot of good cheer at the carnival: both children and parents participated in fun games.
They danced and served specific snacks such as dough-knots and donuts.

The month of March began with the joy of the arrival of spring.
The blooming of snowdrops inspired the children to make a gift to surprise their mothers on the occasion of Women's Day.

What do we celebrate on March 25th – The great double holiday of the Greeks?
March 25th is a religious and national holiday.
Today, Hellenism everywhere honors its ancestors and celebrates the beginning of the 1821 revolution against the Turkish yoke.
At the same time, it honors the Orthodox faith, celebrating the anniversary of the announcement of the birth of Jesus.
The good news was conveyed to the Virgin Mary by the Archangel Gabriel, who told her that she was going to conceive Jesus, the son of God.
On March 25th, we celebrate the Revolution of 1821, which took place against the Turkish yoke after 400 years of slavery. In essence, we are referring to the armed uprising of the Greeks against the Ottomans with the aim of establishing an independent state.
We celebrate the independence of Greece and, as in the case of October 28, on March 25 we essentially celebrate the beginning and not the end of the revolution.
This day is an official holiday in Greece and Cyprus. Its double celebration makes it one of the most important dates of the year.
At our school we decorated our classrooms
and On Friday, March 21, the classes of our Kindergarten presented to each other the celebration they had prepared for the celebration of the Annunciation and the Revolution of 1821.
The children recited their poems, sang “Kleftopoula” and “Thourio tou Rigas”, danced traditional dances “Gerakina” and “Saranta Palikaria” and closed the celebration with the “National Anthem”.
On Monday, March 24th, we attended the celebration of the co-located 2nd grade in the event hall of our school.
Τι γιορτάζουμε την 25η Μαρτίου – Η μεγάλη διπλή γιορτή των Ελλήνων
Η
25η Μαρτίου είναι θρησκευτική αλλά και εθνική εορτή. Ο απανταχού
ελληνισμός τιμά σήμερα τους προγόνους του και γιορτάζει την έναρξη της
επανάστασης του 1821 ενάντια στον τουρκικό ζυγό. Παράλληλα, τιμά την
ορθόδοξη πίστη, εορτάζοντας την επέτειο αναγγελίας της γέννησης του
Ιησού.
Τα χαρμόσυνα νέα μετέφερε στη Θεοτόκο ο Αρχάγγελος Γαβριήλ ο οποίος της είπε πως πρόκειται να κυοφορήσει τον Ιησού, τον γιό του Θεού
Στις 25 Μαρτίου γιορτάζουμε την Επανάσταση του 1821 που έγινε εναντίον του τουρκικού ζυγού μετά από 400 χρόνια σκλαβιάς.
Στην ουσία αναφερόμαστε στην ένοπλη εξέγερση των Ελλήνων εναντίον των Οθωμανών με σκοπό την ίδρυση ανεξάρτητου κράτους.
Γιορτάζουμε
την ανεξαρτησία της Ελλάδας κι όπως και στην περίπτωση της 28ης
Οκτωβρίου, έτσι και την 25η Μαρτίου γιορτάζουμε ουσιαστικά την έναρξη
και όχι τη λήξη της επανάστασης.
Η ημέρα αυτή είναι επίσημη αργία
στην Ελλάδα και την Κύπρο. Ο διπλός εορτασμός της, την κάνει μία από τις
σημαντικότερες ημερομηνίες του χρόνου.
Στο σχολείο μας στολίσαμε και Την
Παρασκευή 21 Μαρτίου τα τμήματα του Νηπιαγωγείου μας παρουσίασαν το ένα
στο άλλο τη γιορτή που είχαν ετοιμάσει για τον εορτασμό του Ευαγγελισμού
και της Επανάστασης του 1821. Τα παιδιά είπαν τα ποιήματά τους,
τραγούδησαν τα “Κλεφτόπουλα” και τον “Θούριο του Ρήγα”, χόρεψαν
παραδοσιακούς χορούς τη “Γερακίνα” και τα “Σαράντα Παληκάρια”και
έκλεισαν τη γιορτή με τον “Εθνικό Ύμνο”.
Τη Δευτέρα 24 Μαρτίου παρακολουθήσαμε τη γιορτή του συστεγαζόμενου 2ου Δημοτικού στην αίθουσα εκδηλώσεων του σχολείου μας.

Επισκεφθήκαμε το «Σπίτι του Νερού» (WaterHouse) – Κέντρο Πληροφόρησης για την εξοικονόμηση του νερού που βασικό σκοπό έχει την προώθηση της ευαισθητοποίησης, σχετικά με την αειφόρο διαχείριση και χρήση του νερού, σε όλα τα κοινωνικά και γεωγραφικά επίπεδα.
Το Σπίτι του Νερού, παράλληλα με τα παραπάνω, έχει ως κεντρική δραστηριότητά του τη διακίνηση της γνώσης μέσω Εκπαιδευτικών Προγραμμάτων, σεμιναρίων και δημόσιων εκδηλώσεων.

April - Easter
At school in Malta we had an Easter Fun Day on our last day before the holidays - 15th April.
We had an Easter Egg Hunt and many different Easter games like feed the bunny, running with bean bags, parachute, hopping, egg and spoon race.

One other most beloved feast by children is Easter. Together we set up a corner in the group room where we decorated an Easter tree.
- Over several days the children participated in many interesting activities:
- they drew Easter eggs
- decorated Easter eggs and drew different lines to folow the path of the eggs
- counted colored eggs
- made easter baskets and baskets with colored eggs
- dyed eggs with crepe paper
- had a lot of fun playing the Hot Egg game
- and the most expected activity of the week was the egg hunt.
15th KINDERGARTEN OF PATRAS GREECE
It smelled like Easter in our Kindergarten 2025.
The storks came to our kindergarten and brought us Spring and Easter!!!
We talked about the custom of Lazarus and sang carols, and made little Lazarus dolls.
Since ancient times, buns and tsoureki, and dough in general, have symbolized the rebirth of life as the flour "comes to life", "takes shape and life" and transforms into bread.
We made Easter cookies.
The hare brought us colorful Easter eggs and told us what tradition says about the custom of red eggs!!!
We dyed Easter eggs
We made the little lanterns made from recyclable materials.
Our egg cartons were also made from recyclable materials with candies in transparent eggs.
We packed the Lazarakia and Easter cookies along with treats - chocolates donated by Elias's mom. And we thank her warmly for that!!!
We worked on a Freehand drawing with an Easter theme.

The children listened to the Holy Passion and focused on drawing the Divine Drama.
With the help of the ladybug that wakes up and appears now at Easter, we counted its legs and wrote down 6.
Free artistic rendering with things that remind us of Easter, such as red eggs, candles, lanterns and the Epitaph.

Ενημερώθηκαν για την πορεία του έργου με την βοήθεια ppt και τα παιδιά συμμετείχαν με ερωτοαποκρίσεις ένω τραγούδησαν τα τζιτζίκια του Οδυσσέα Ελύτη και το Καληνύφτα από τα Ελληνόφωνα χωριά της Κάτω Ιταλίας και χόρεψαν το Ελλάδα μου όμορφη κλείνοντας με τον καλύτερο τρόπο ένα πρόγραμμα που μας έμαθε πολλά και διασκεδάσαμε μαθαίνοντας.
Αποχωρήσαμε με λευκά μπαλόνια με το σύνθημα
LETS CΕLEBRATE!!!
Είμαστε τόσο περήφανοι με αυτό το αναμνηστικό!!!
